Before you begin, it is important to note that when submitting loans to Essex, it is mandatory to use a SUBMISSION PACKAGE CHECKLIST by product type. These can be found at www.essexwholesale.com  in DOCUMENTS AND FORMS.

 

 

New Submissions: Follow Steps below:
Upload FNMA 3.2 or Encompass File
o  Upload the Submission Form and documentation requirements specific to the type of package being submitted: 01 - Essex Prepares Disclosures, 02 - A Complete Submission & Credit Package, or 03 - Broker Disclosed, Includes Disclosures & Complete Submission Package 
o  Confirm loan has been submitted - Status should reflect "Processing"

An Email will be automatically sent to Submissions.

 

Important!

When uploading any conditions, it is necessary to notify the appropriate department via email as follows:

Prior to Doc Underwriting Conditions: Send email to your Account Manager advising that conditions were uploaded. 

Doc Request: Upload and send email to Account Manager.

Prior to Funding Conditions: Send email notifying your designated Funder that conditions were uploaded.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

Is it possible to upload colored documents?

 

Yes. You can upload colored documents. However, it is important to note that each document must be no larger than 25 mg. You may wish to split your colored documents so that each upload is no larger than 25 mg.

 

 

Can we view our documents in Broker Connect?

 

Yes. With your loan open in Broker Connect, select the Conditions & Documents tab. Scroll down to the Documents Section. Click on the document that you wish to view. A window will open asking if you want to Open, Save or Save As. Click Open.

 

 

Will we receive a Disclosure Acknowledged Date?

 

When your disclosures have been acknowledged by your borrower(s), you will receive an email that says, “You can now order your appraisal for loan number ____. “

 

 

Will our Loan Officers be automatically notified of Status Changes?

 

Yes. Automatic notifications are built into the system at each status change.

 

 

Are our appraisals uploaded for us?

 

You will continue to upload your appraisals, just as you have in the past.

 

 

How do I order Docs from Broker Connect?

 

The Doc Request Form is on the Log-In page of Broker Connect under Resources & Tools in Printable Forms.
